Mark your calendars for the 18th Annual Fall Educators' Conference Wednesday, September 18 to Friday, September 20, 2013 in New Orleans, LA. Conference sessions begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday and conclude on Friday at 4:30 pm. Pre-conference workshops are held on Wednesday, September 18, 8:30-11:30am.

Theme: The conference theme is "Collegiate Outcomes and Industry Expectations." As business educators we think we know what students need to successfully prepare for a professional career. However as the needs of business change with advancing technology, are we really keeping up? The conference theme looks to examine how expectations in industry align with current collegiate outcomes.

Format:

Refereed Papers: Full manuscripts, limited to 12 double-spaced pages can be submitted for presentation consideration via blind peer review.

Position Papers: Three-page position papers outlining works in progress, new developments or issues related to the Conference Theme are also encouraged.

Panels: Proposals for three to four panelists to provide their perspectives on a relevant topic, followed by a group discussion are welcome as well.

Conference Registration Fee: The early conference registration fee is $170 ($120 for full-time students) for paid registrations received by Wednesday, August 1, 2013. The regular conference fee is $195 ($150 for full-time students) for paid registrations received after Wednesday, August 1, 2013. The conference registration fee includes a one-year membership to the Marketing Management Association (a $50 value) as well as conference meals as outlined below.

Meals: The conference registration fee includes dinner on Wednesday, lunch and dinner on Thursday as well as lunch on Friday.

Hotel Information: Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette Hotel, 817 Common Street, New Orleans, LA 70112. The MMA Fall Educators' Conference special room rate is $99 per night.
