How to Get Involved

The MMA actively encourages member participation and contributions in the following areas:

Participate in a Conference:

Please consider submitting papers or special session proposals, contributing to round table discussions, or serving as a discussant, session chair, or track chair at an upcoming MMA conference. Check out the “Conference” section of our website for details related to upcoming conferences. We also invite you to serve as a reviewer for the Spring MMA conference in the track of your choice. Track chairs always welcome the participation of doctoral students and other young scholars who are committed to serving as paper reviewers. Click on the “Call for Papers” or “Track Chair” links in the “Conference” section of the website for email addresses or phone numbers of the appropriate individual. Interested in technology? Volunteers are always needed to set-up laptops and multimedia projectors at the spring conference, and to help paper presenters load their PowerPoint presentations on the computer prior to the session. Please use the “Contact Us” link to reach the President Elect and Spring Program Chair to volunteer your technological services for one or more sessions during the spring conference.

Join the Publication Council, Editorial Review Board, or Board of Directors:

Use the “Contact Us” link to offer your services to current MMA President on the Board of Directors, or as a member of the Publication Council or Editorial Review Board!

Submit an Article for Journal Consideration:

Members are encouraged to submit articles to the MMA’s scholarly publications, The Marketing Management Journal (TMMJ) and the Journal for Advancement of Marketing Education (JAME). Check out the submission guidelines in the “Publications” portion of our website.
