Congratulation to the 2007 MMA Fellow, Brian Engelland!
In recognition of his exemplary service to the MMA organization as well as his scholarly contributions to the marketing discipline,Brian Engelland has been designated as the 2007 Fellow of the Marketing Management Association.
Brian Engelland is head of the Mississippi State University's department of marketing, quantitative analysis and business law, and was recognized as the 20th Fellow of the MMA at the spring 2007 conference.
Charles Pettijohn, MMA's current executive director, said Engelland has helped advance the field of marketing management through his exemplary professional work.
"Engelland is a tireless worker who has contributed greatly to the discipline," added Pettijohn, also a Missouri State University marketing professor. "His efforts reflect favorably on Mississippi State University as being an institution with nationally recognized faculty who are contributing to marketing scholarship across the nation."
Specifically, Engelland's research has focused on the areas of marketing management deployment, construct measurement and marketing education. He also has held 12 national elected offices in scholarly organizations, including the MMA presidency and a similar position with the Society for Marketing Advances.
